Amy Winehouse has been mentally stressed since her husband’s arrest. She had won 5 awards at a US music ceremony last week. She wanted her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil to put up one of her prestigious Grammy’s at his cell in prison for display. She actually wants the prize to be a symbol of their love.

There are various sources that reaffirm her statement say that they are a very loving couple and Amy wanted her husband to keep a trophy at his prison cell to prove how much she loved him.

However this has surely put the London Pentonville prison guards in an amused situation. The guard’s claim that the prize will be allowed inside the prison only when after the authorities inspect the golden prize which is in the shape of a gramophone. The guards need to be sure that nothing is inside the prize and only then will it be allowed inside the prison.

They also need to be sure that the Grammy is not an offensive weapon which may cause any kind of physical harm to the inmates.

Amy’s husband is in prison due to charges of grievous bodily harm or GBH. There are also charges against him for trying to conspire and pervert the courts justice. Even Amy had been under rehabilitation programs and was in a troubled state of mind.

 

Now all we have to do is to wait and watch how long the Grammy will stay in prison if it makes it there at all.
